Building fire safety

Building fire safety course for university staff

The Building Fire Safety course is provided for all persons nominated with ‘local’ fire safety-related roles (Building Managers, Fire Coordinators, and Fire Stewards) and is designed to provide information and guidance on the management of fire safety at a ‘local’ level and how it interfaces with the wider University community. In addition to proving information, instruction, and guidance for those nominated to undertake one or more of these roles, the training also covers ‘why fire safety is important’, ‘basic fire prevention’, and 'the actions to take in the event of a fire’.

Course duration

The course lasts 1.5 hours. Please arrive promptly for the start time.
