Fire extinguisher training

Course outline

This is an external course supplied by Core Fire Protection www.corefire.co.uk the maximum number of participants is 15.

The course covers: 

• Fire Triangle
• Action on hearing a fire alarm
• Action on discovering a fire
• Causes of Fire in commercial premises- brief overview of action taken to mitigate these causes
• Different types of extinguishers and fire classifications

• Use of portable fire equipment:

  -when to use/when not to use

  -using a fire extinguisher (electronic simulator) and a fire blanket

The course lasts 1 hour. Please arrive promptly for the start time.
