Local Fire Safety Management

This training is designed to provide Fire Coordinators, and other relevant staff, with a comprehensive understanding of the local fire safety management arrangements, in order to assist their Head of School with their devolved fire safety responsibilities.
This training is aimed at Fire Coordinators, which can also include Building Managers, School Safety Advisers and similar, relevant roles.
This training is required for staff who hold these roles.
This training should be repeated every 3 years.

The course lasts one hour. Please arrive promptly for the start time.

University personnel who wish to become a Fire Coordinator or would like to attend refresher training can self-enrol via People and Money - please follow the links below, if the link is not published next to the date this is because the venue has yet to be confirmed, please be assured that the course will go ahead in the campus area listed and enrolment links will follow : 

 

*Please note that Fire Coordinators must also complete the Building Fire Response Training course the latest courses have been scheduled side by side to make attending both courses easier*
