Lone and Out of Hours Working

This course should be completed by any staff who are required to work out of hours or alone.

Any staff who may require to work out of hours or alone should receive adequate instruction and training to ensure they are working safely and have in place safe systems in case of emergencies. Further guidance on LOOH is also available.

Course outline

This course deals with the aspects involved in lone and out of hours working, defining lone and out of hours, responsibility and Risk Assessment. It discusses responsibility of management and the individual, as well as ways of reducing the risks involved in lone and out of hours working.
