The course is aimed at those who work with hazardous substances and who have the responsibility for carrying out risk assessments in accordance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations. There is a requirement in law that where employees are involved in tasks involving the use of hazardous substances that risk is formally assessed with a view to avoiding or reducing the risk.
