Short course outlining the purpose and selection of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) Respiratory Protective Equipment is one of the last considerations to control a substances hazardous to health, such as dust or chemicals. Once the user has been facefit tested or been provided with a powered hood (depending upon the risk assessment), they must also complete the Tight-fitting RPE or Powered Hood training, as appropriate.
